One Million Years B.C with the Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs
On Thursday 7 December, we're teaming up with Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs to bring those magnificent creatures to our screens with a series of short films, documentaries and a special screening of a classic dinosaur film.

We will start the evening with two short films by Anthony Lewis: The Lost Valley Of London and The Seven Deadly Agents Of Destruction, exploring the history of the Dinosaurs and the threats to their preservation. We will also present the premiere of Back to Life by the award-winning filmmaker Tal Amiran. This documentary explores the conservation work of the Dinosaurs of Crystal Palace Park.

After a Q&A with the filmmakers and the conservators, we go back in time for our screening of the ever-so-glorious 1966 classic One Million Years B.C. Starring Raquel Welch and John Richardson, and full of brilliant stop-motion animation from the masterful Ray Harryhausen.

With four films to fill your evening, this truly will be a night for the ages.

Proceeds from this event will go towards the restoration of the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs. Visit the Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs to find out more.
